M.C. Escher was the staff architect?
WOW, cheap, modern contractors will teach you the way Wiz
One time I was 51%.
Reminds me of MAD Magazine’s “poiuyt”, an impossible trident designed in the mid-60’s.
M. C. Escher would be proud.
Escher Architectural Wizards drew up the Fink’s throne room plans.
It’s the ninja playgound castle from Final Fantasy 2 (3 in Japan).
I was telling my architect friends how much I love M.C. Escher.
They all gave me some weird stairs.
Really, the minimum standard for a government contract is 100%. There are so many government officials and politicians too keep well fed and happy that 50% isn’t enough to let them all wet their beaks.
Too cheap?
If you have to explain ‘em they’re not funny.
This comic reminds me of the babe / Babe with the power / Power of voodoo
Is this the winchester mansion?
Must have got confused with art!!!!!!
Thought he was a wizard.
And the attacking Huns won’t be able to find the Fink.
Fail of the house of Escher?
50% over on a government contract would be a bargain in California.
Stairs going everywhere and nowhere.
Only 50%? Maybe next time, go 100% over. Might make a decent construction.
Was the letterer drunk when he did the caption in the lower right?
…poor design and 50% over budget? Come to the city of Winnipeg – they will award you a contract in a heartbeat…
Try defense contracting.
Works for the US Government now. Does all the projects.
I’d have loved to have seen the entire structure…
Only?!?
The Fink is just upset he didn’t get his cut of the overpayments.
How do you find the restroom
He Eschered in a whole new era of architecture
This is not the first time an M. C. Escher motif has popped up in Id.
