My Uncle Mac looked like a gnome. He was 6’ 4", but still! (No, we didn’t call him Big Mac, sheesh!)

They couldn’t afford to hire backyard hermits anymore, so they made 3-D caricatures of them. :-)

“Oh give me a home where the garden gnomes roam

and the statuary is at play." I’ll stop now.

Good question.

Knowing that I hate those things I was offered for fun a dozen plaster gnomes with those sickeningly goofy smiles, to paint in bright happy colours. Well, I did paint them. By common agreement I was later asked to get my army of zombie red caps out of the lawn.

It kind of looks like Ziggy with a red beard.

Didn’t Eddie already switched his clothing with a lawn ornament before?

I wonder if this time he can take the beard, too.
