I used to have a cat that would get his claws in the screen door that had a wooden frame and he’d use it to “knock” on the front door. The thing that made it confusing was the rhythm of his knock was exactly like what a human would do. More than once, after going to answer the door, while thinking someone was knocking just to find out it was just the cat, someone would knock on the door for real and I would ignore it, thinking it was the cat again, until I’d hear someone saying, is anyone home?
Well Elly, you gotta get used to the code when installing an Artificial Intelligence Doorbell. When it is a dog ringing the doorbell the A.I. gives the signal with an orange colored Ding.
When it is a human ringing the doorbell, the Ding is yellow colored and for people that have difficulty recognizing sound colors, the Ding has a longer ring with two GG’s.
Abbott and Costello scene where they are in an aisle in the supermarket at each end of the aisle. Lou holds up a crumpled bag and yells “Hey Abbott look at this old bag!”. An old woman behind him turns around and starts hitting him with her purse.
The only Ding-Dong in the strip is Lawrence. (Black outside; white inside). Lawrence has done nothing black. In the same way the Enjos are bananas (Yellow outside; white inside). They only think of Edgar as the pet of the Pattersons.

Oops! Well I guess that is a good way for Ellie to make sure that the neighbors do not come by too often. :)

I had a cat that would grab the screen door with her claws, pull it out a little, and then let it close. It had a spring, so it made a sound.
