Acupuncture, like homeopathy, is pure bubkus. It has no scientific basis and has at best a placebo effect. If Eastern Medicine is so effective and rife with wisdom hidden from science based medicine, then explain the sharp rise in life expectancy across the globe starting in the 20th Century with the advent of science based medicine. I will rely on vaccines, blood transfusions and penicillin any day of the week.
