Even without the bagpipes, she has a great ability to drone on and on.

Outside of Amazing Grace, most people don’t have use for it Hildie.

Why do bagpipers march? To get away from the noise.

Actually, (in my admittedly biased opinion) bagpipes can be quite pleasant to listen to, when properly played.

Now, now, that was mean. I actually LIKE to hear the pipes. (When they are played well of course.)

A guy at the CA north Renfaire (decades ago) had bagpipes from a half dozen cultures and he’d tell you all about them.

They say that the bagpipes were really invented by the Irish. They dropped a boatload off in Scotland as a joke, but the Scots didn’t get the joke!

I’m glad I’m not the only one that hates bagpipes. They really really hurt my ears

Good bagpipe playing is amazing. Learning to play the bagpipes…that’s a whole different story. But it’s still not as bad as beginner oboe.

Someone got my wife a recording of 47 different versions of “Amazing Grace”. If I ever hear another bagpipe, it will NOT be by choice.

@CHRIS, I think that I’ve heard bag pipes being played a while back, But the big question is How can you tell when someone is playing them well or not ? ? To me it sounds like an animal is being abused or tortured
