According to Italian tradition, opening an umbrella inside the house brings bad luck. That’s normal for a Born Loser.

The rain is supposed to be relaxing when you’re home.

He enjoys sharing in the reality.True story- When in my 30’s I had a flight simulator on my home computer and I enjoyed learning everything about flying and navigating. I’d start the engine, and then review my flight plan as the engine warmed up. It took about ten minutes for the oil temp to come up, and then I’d take off.

Two possibilities: One is that Brutus is, unbeknownst to us, a frustrated method actor. He’s trying to experience everything his team is going through. The second is that the picture resolution on his HDTV is so good that he’s protecting himself from splatter from the rain delay.

Of course, as The Born Loser, it could be that he fully expects that the dark cloud that hangs over him really will let loose with a thunderstorm on his head.

Brutus is definitely a real baseball fan!
