The strips are late… but why?

Easy peesy Darryl. You pick out one top, one pair of blue jeans for Zoe and tell her that’s what she’s wearing, no conplaining. You make sure Hammie changes his under shorts and put out a clean pair of jeans and t-shirt, and dress Wren in what ever moves you. The challenge is getting her feet through the pant legs, arms through the sleeves and socks and shoes on her feet.

You sometimes get chewed out when you don’t get too upset about whining. I’ve been there and done that.

Kudos to Wanda.

The first panel of today’s strip is telling, isn’t it? Where I live, if I’m not out the door for my walk by 7am in the summer, I’ve missed my chance; it’s too hot after that.

How early do you have to be in Phoenix with their 55 days of 110+ weather to “beat the heat”?

Darryl I have faith in you to work with your kids, when do you go to work?I do not get up early as I also going for my walk. Plus earlier I did my indoor stay fit skier, I am making progress on. Over 4 minutes. I was forced to take a break for almost 3 years, yet I had to work on walking, I had a great reason. I even walked mornings when really warm. Now much cooler, our summer not giving it up.

Not only are they late.. but I have to click on the forward arrow to see today’s strip.

Darryl was eager enough to get those kids started, now he realizes there’s a price to be paid for pleasure.

Is she saying earplugs help block out the kids’ whining or implying she is wearing earplugs so she doesn’t have to hear Darryl’s whining?
