Yes it is caffeine free but it loaded with calories. Which do you want or not want?

But just like coffee, you can never buy it, only rent it for a short time.

Never really liked beer. Had a few token glasses from time to time in early decades, just to be sociable. Just never found the same enjoyment others did. Couple fingers of Jim Beam or Chivas Regal eventually became my go-to on occasion. Been a long time since the last shot of either. S-i-i-i-g-h

Somehow I wouldn’t be surprised if caffeinated beer became a thing.

    I like beer

It makes me a jolly good fellow

    I like beer

    It helps me unwind

And sometimes it makes me feel mellow

    (Makes him feel mellow)

    Whiskey’s too rough

    Champagne costs too much

Vodka puts my mouth in gear

    This little refrain

    Should help me explain

As a matter of fact I like beer (he likes beer)

    Tom T Hall

personally, I never liked the taste

Monty Python said American beer is like making love in a canoe. It’s ducking close to water.

There are a number of beers brewed with coffee (beans?), which I suspect contain caffeine.

A History of the World in 6 Glasses, a 2006 book by Tom Standage, tells the story of humanity from the Stone Age to the 21st Century through each epoch’s signature refreshment: beer, wine, spirits, coffee, tea, and Coca-Cola.

Beer is first because our hunter-gatherer ancestors about 10,000 years ago discovered that fermented grain holds its nutritive value thruout the winter months, whereas the just plain grain tends to rot or get eaten by rodents (thus leading to our adoption of cats, but that’s another story). But sticking around in one place long enuf to grow grain meant that they had to develop agriculture and more or less permanent communities, so it’s not a big stretch to say that love of beer led to civilization as we know it today.
