Why should Duke be surprised? The wonder is why one of the cretins for whom he serves hasn’t had Duke’s head blown off long before now.

Duke, Duke, Duke…THIS is where you point out that if you (and your accomplice! Don’t forget your accomplice!) were to (both) turn up dead, or mysteriously vanish, you’ve arranged things so that the incriminating evidence will be automatically delivered directly to the news media.

But Duke has no intention of dying for his extortionate dreams. He’ll make a deal: your money for my life

I’m surprised Andrews hasn’t gotten a bid from cheap foreign talent.

The obscenely wealthy were already hiring illegal immigrants to do work no one else would do, for a cheap price, even way back when this comic was first published.

Amateurs almost always get caught and when they are, they always roll over on the person who contracted them. You get what you pay for.

That gets rid of the messenger but not the blackmail material. Not sure how that solves his problem.

Slightly off-track, but I learned today that when I die, I can donate my heart pacemaker to a pet hospital (depending on how much battery life is left at the time). It can then be used to save a dog – this makes my heart happy!! :) I thought that I will tell as many people as possible.
