I like seeing how Zoe takes charge, but the nighttime "drink of water " is silly. Surely Hammie can take care of his own nighttime hydration needs.

And do kids really wake up in the night demanding a drink? I remember being a kid who was afraid of things that go bump in the night. My own kids had nightmares, ear infections, and their own fears, but no need for a waiter.

Darryl should have known better. In addition to being a tattletale, Zoe is also brags abut her accomplishments .

I would think Hammie is as capable of getting water for himself as Zoe is of getting it for him.

I let my grandkids (from an age old enough to most likely not spill it) have a small bottle of water with screw on cap by their beds. It worked out great. Sometimes there would be some water gone in them the next morning and sometimes not.

Ok, nope. You are not making your oldest child wait on their younger siblings in the middle of the night.
