HUMBUG! OMG it is that time of year. All that Canned xmas music everywhere you go. And when I hear “The Little Drummer Boy” I want to cuss and spit on the floor.
Back in the day Goodyear tires would put out a Christmas album every year. I remember how excited I was every December to go get one before they sold out
Another thought: WHY is the best Christmas music provided by only those from the era around 1940-1970? There hasn’t been a decent new Christmas song since the last member of the Rat Pack died.
This is insane! It’s not even Thanksgiving and Batiuk is dragging Christmas into this strip today. I love the holidays but it reminds me of those sickening Hallmark dramas with Christmas in July.
time to dig out my ted cassidy sings the songs of xmas which also includes his number one hit YOU RANG !!! its also not on spotify so suffer with your goodyear tire album
SOMA FM (on the Internets) has three channels of Christmas music, Christmas Lounge, Department Store Christmas and Xmas in Frisco. Been playing since October 1st and will go on until at least Epiphany. No commercial
JEF, would it hurt to get a different song once?!!
Years ago you gave me what you thought would be an anonymous joke to my dad … no wonder my dad does not like you. The joke is getting old and tiresome.
You’re a mean one, Mr. Grinch
You really are a heel
You’re as cuddly as a cactus
As charming as an eel, Mr. Grinch
You’re a bad banana with a greasy black peel
You’re a monster, Mr. Grinch (Mr. Grinch)
Your heart’s an empty hole
Your brain is full of spiders
You’ve got garlic in your soul, Mr. Grinch
You’re a vile one, Mr. Grinch (Mr. Grinch)
You have termites in your smile
You have all the tender sweetness of a seasick crocodile, Mr. Grinch
Now given the choice between the two of you
I’d take the seasick crocodile
Seasick crocodile
The words that best describe you are stink, stank, stunk

Why is Pam’s head always drawn as so freakishy oblong and tall when she’s depicted in her youth?
Seriously, compare panel 3 to panel 7 here now. That’s not the same person.

Unfortunately for Pmm, it was the same Christmas song from Jfff every year regardless of format: The Singing Dogs barking in tune to “Jingle Bells.”

The version with Ed had wax cylinders, player piano rolls, and reel-to-reel tapes.

I’m not a great fan of time marching on, but I’ll admit – Apple Music is great.

Hah! Because they threw out their record player, 8 track, cassette and CD players, so they only have a digital option now.

If you miss Ed, just click random a few times. It’s nostalgic.
