I love it! (I’m from Ohio). Wouldn’t it be cool if the two sets of partners could meet? This puts me in mind of an old “Life in these United States” anecdote from Reader’s Digest. Two men came face to face—both middle-aged, balding, with mustache, the white man in a dark business suit, the black man in a white suit. After staring at each other, one whispered, “Which one of us is the negative?”

I know they’re supposed to just be a race swap of the main characters, but I can’t not see the cop on the left in the last panel as Shaggy from Scooby Doo, I wonder how many criminals have lamented that they would have gotten away with things if not for his meddling.

“Columbus” is like the traveling doctor that treated me in the ER once. Looked him up and he was licensed in 15 states. Makes a living subbing in ERs. Did a great job, BTW.
