It’s identifiable as a joke. A Dad joke Brevity might use, but certainly joke-adjacent. At least he’s wearing his hat. Yesterday’s strip made me think he’d start singing “We represent the Lollipop Guild, the Lollipop Guild!”

Maybe it’s the tryptophan talking, but Ed’s punchline today was actually amusing and seemed like something he would say as a deliberate pun. Thumbs up.

Congrats to the Argos for their 19th Grey Cup win. Against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers they are 8-0 in the Grey Cup. And congrats to the Bombers. They had a heck of a year. Starting the season at 0-6 and eventually taking 1st in their division and winning the West Final for their record tying 5th consecutive trip to the Grey Cup.
