My aunt let me learn how to cook when I was 12. It saved me a fortune as a bachelor. Her only rule was that I had to eat anything I cooked. The brown fried eggs were a lesson in not using bacon grease. :)
Is the problem actually that Melody is using Melody Thomas Scott recipes as seen on soapless daytime dramas?
Less of a problem if you step up and take turns with her, Horace. Do your part, and see of you get criticism.
