Got the Christmas Decorations up. Before you all react, I put up a FRACTION of what I usually put up. Nobody is coming over, so why bother. I’m just not feeling it…..
In Central Florida it seldom gets to freezing (yes it can get down to the low 30’s- luckily not very often.) but it does get cold. I had a blanket for my outdoor cat & she & her nephew would cuddle. Not sure what they did when there was a whole group. But after her nephew got sick & I brought him in- he only lasted a year- I purchased a self heating pet mat. She loves it. It is waterproof, but when it gets wet I bought 2 I change it to the dry one & wash & dry the wet one, Yes it is machine washable.
We had a blue cat named Otis. He was a confirmed fraidy cat. In real life cats blue is gray with a blueish cast. I like the robin’s egg pair above better,
Good grief, indeed. Shouldn’t Chesney be by a heater or something? That would thaw the little stinker out much quicker. On another note, saw eight golden crowned kinglets, two juncos, a chickadee, two vireos, two wrens, and three varied thrushes while out walking today.

I’m glad I put out our outdoor decorations yesterday because it is very cold here today. Luckily our cats are indoors so they won’t be turning blue.

Looking at Bluebell’s paws in the last panel, the cold might be turning her orange.
