So that’s why he’s looking like Odie, only with a smaller tongue.

I fear Guard Dog in MUTTS comes to mind, and kind of puts a damper on this strip.

Oh really, Garfield? Like cats aren’t easily entertained either? What about when you get a fresh batch of lasagna piping hot from the oven, or when you’re spending time with Pooky?

I hate seeing that chain on the poor dog. (Yes, I know it’s not real) I wish he would do like Mutts did and have someone rescue the poor thing.

People that keep a dog chained should be beaten, often and very hard. We invested in an electric fence, after needing to find our escaped lovable Huskies. Since having it installed and training them, they have never left the yard. We took down the wood fence and will never put another one up.

Garfield hoped he was getting his teeth cleaned because doggy breath.

As am I. That must be why I’m a “dog person.”

Quite easily , it’s part of their charm ! ;-)

Considering how thick that chain is… The owner had better hope the dog doesn’t run off.

A walk for a dog is pure heaven, a dog park is even better.

mine love to ride in the truck, no matter where it is going. Then when we get there, it is they get excited that is their favorite place
