Cats are carnivores and a lot of people think they’re cute, so, sure, I guess carnivores are the cute ones.

Sooo, Petey is telling her to bring home the bologna and fry it up in a pan? ☺️❤️

Ahh, fried baloney peanut butter sandwiches. Those were the days….

I haven’t had a fried baloney sandwich in 40 years and, after reading all your comments, it will be another 40 before I have another. And I’m in my 80’s.

I just read where squirrels have been hunting and eating voles so that’s another example of a cute carnivore!

Don’t listen to Petey’s baloney.

Alice is too young (and erratic) to be allowed to use the stove without supervision.

Frying bologna grossed me out as a kid because it reminded me of a skinned knee.

We always made a cut in the bologna so it would not form a hat shape but stay flat.

I’ll bet it’s been 50 years or more since I’ve had any bologna.

And – Petey looks positively cheerful in that last frame. Shame on you Petey!

The best fried bologna sandwich I ever had was from a little carryout in Richmond, VA, across the street from the Philip Morris tobacco plant in the 1970s. Moonglow eats much healthier these days but that sandwich lives in memory!
