I wonder if Sterling de-morphs into his original form at certain times. As soon as I read the first panel, I knew we were getting another Sterling Origin story. Does anyone have the dates of all the other origins? I noticed that Seagull was with Mom and Dad during this episode…..or was it another ancestor? Looks like he and Sterling are giving each other the eye in the first panel.

Well, what number Sterling creation story does this one make it.

Okay, Sterling isn’t human. That explains a lot.

This is a lot better than the story Calvin’s father told him.

I wish I would have thought of a story like this when my kids asked. Very clever. Although, I did say to my teenage son once after an aggravating moment, “I told your mom we should have left you in the alley we found you.”

Plausible deniability for so many things.

In all seriousness, that actually does seem like something their mother would do. :P

I have a small business suggestion for someone with the carpentry skills I lack. Build what looks like a small wrecked space capsule out in the woods. Parents then pay you to photograph them “finding“ their baby in the capsule. The parent take the pictures home and tuck them away somewhere for the children to find when they’re older.

….the ole boy needs to be writing a movie script!!!!!

Totally implausible. We’re supposed to believe that Sterling came into being wearing clothes???

Jonathan and Martha Kent were lucky

The truth about Sterling must forever remain unknown. Sterling came to being as… something or someone from somewhere we shall never truly know.

Note the “comet” sound in the second panel: Pewwww Will Henry has, not surprisingly, perfectly captured the sound of an alien spaceship hurtling to earth.

Wallace and Sterling with their he-man arms, and Sterling’s face as he makes that pronouncement. So funny.

Sterling is like Reverse Flash. All his origin stories are equally conflicting and equally true.

One thing I agree with Sterling about. We, as a species, suck. We’re literally causing another mass extinction, we’re destroying the planet, and we can’t even get along with our own species.

Some of the Sterling Origin Stories: May 5, 2019; July 12, 2020; January 19, 2020. I can’t find the others though.

And so, instead of Kal-El, we got Sterling.

I see the little space blob has perfected the ‘jaunty saunter’.

The spacecraft looks like the giant head of a Djinn! It just needs some eyes to complete the picture.
