Had a knee operation last year, well, actually year before last, now. Just before the operation, our company changed hands, which meant that we also changed insurance companies.

Luckily, after some back and forth, the new insurance company gave me credit for the progress I’d made toward my deductible with the previous company. Saved me a lot of money.

Not an interesting story, but something to keep in mind if your insurance changes mid-year.

Somehow, I don’t think Rodney’s doctor is a total stranger.

In the end Rodney finally gets the point about having a deductible.

32 of the 33 most industrialized countries in the world have single payer/national health. The last one says that to have national health is impossible. But anyone breathing can get a gun.

Being it’s only the 3rd day of the year, he either has a low deductible or that doctor charges outrageous prices. Most likely it’s not a low deductible.

Rodney definitely got the point of that prediction…
