The first part of the paper I want to read every morning.

I sropped reading a newspaper because they stopped publishing comics.

In Sports: your team has lost again.

Works for me.

I’m not sure even the comix will help on Jan. 20.

Sifting through some of the American, political arguments on this “Comix” site, “A Giant Meteor” sounds friendlier…

Comics for escape huh? This from the guy who pushed Covid propaganda on his strip for a couple of years.

The only part of the Sunday paper I liked.

That’s why I start my day here.

GoComics first thing every morning!

Those print editions no longer exist on Saturdays and Mondays in the town I live in and a recliner does not work well with computer desk on those days what a pain.

That’s the spirit! Read the stuff that counts!

In Pittsburgh PA we only have print editions of the Post Gazette on Sundays & Thursdays. It sucks!

Looks like me, when we did get the paper. (Subscription price grew to over $1000/year for delivery!) That’s why I joined GoComics!

Lio has the right idea.

This is my approach to the news for the next four years. Ignorance.

I go straight to the funnies and the sports—can’t bring myself to read the “real” news any more.

“Comix” was the term for the underground comix we had. Lio is not old enough for those.

This is why I only read the comics .

The TDS is strong with many commenters.

Last time I saw newspaper it was with my order of fish and chips. And of course that wasn’t real newsprint but just a nostalgic accomodation for capitalisms sake.

That was me before Gocomics.com. I switched because I felt guilty throwing away all the other paper without looking at it.

In these treacherous modern times we could really use “Pogo”…..

Music is like magic. It can instantly make you feel very strong feelings—joy, exhilaration, nostalgia, sadness. Use music to heal yourself. Humans have been trying to do this since the beginning, I’d guess.

This is why I always read the comics section first.
