Interesting how in the early strips, Wiz’s wife’s name is spelled “Blanch” without the “e” at the end. At some point she became Blanche. I’ve always wondered why.

Wiz could just clear the snow everywhere else, but leave the snow on Shorty and wander off to lunch.

The trouble with science these days

Back into hibernation now until February.

I’ve said before, someone hit Wiz Classics, it’s stuck again.

Perhaps someone at GC needs to be gently tapped. Anyone have a stick?

Wiz should command “PUBLISH!”, maybe something would get unstuck

Maybe this month it will be weekdays only, and no Sundays.

Oops! It’s now February, and even Sunday hasn’t been updated.

And now we even lost Sunday..

Now even Sundays have disappeared.

C’mon, GoComics. Wiz Classics is better than just about everything else. When it runs.

Because of “publishing deadlines” here at GoComics, the artists will usually place a tranche of comics into their queue. Often, it is the Sunday comics that run out the furthest. This was seen when Georgia Dunn of ”Breaking Cat News” took some time off, she arranged for some re-suns, and it were the Sunday comics that ran out last of the re-runs, the last two were both Sunday strips..

My guess is that this same scenario has happened here, either the comic is dead or abandoned, but it does explain the final two comics being Sundays.
