Or A.A.Milne. I got a copy of his poems for my sixth birthday and I was hooked. When I was One I had just begun. When I was Two I was very new. When I was Three I was barely me.When I was Four I was not much more. When I was Five I was hardly aliveBut now that Iâm Six Iâm as clever as cleverâŠâčSo I think Iâll be six now forever and ever.I recited it for a school Assembly in the first grade . And that little book of poems. ( I loved the one about Christopher having the measles) started my love of books and especially poetry.
tad sees so many birds every day on his walks, that sometimes I get a little jealous because I have not been seeing many birds lately. And I donât see any of the ones that tad sees! I see flocks of geese flying overhead or flocks of turkeys in farm fields, but thatâs pretty much it. But I got the surprise of my life driving to work yesterday afternoon. I saw an adult bald eagle feeding on a deer carcass. I know that bald eagles can always be seen along the Wisconsin River, but this was nowhere near the river. It was an amazing sight to see!
Just a reminder for readers. Laughing kitty is usually good about posting the special days on the previous dayâs strip if the current day isnât posted. I hate missing those days. Thank you again Kitty for doing such a great job.
My kitty woke me at 4 this morning only to return later and keep sleeping when I had to get up for work at 7. I had to get out of bed around her while she just stretched and rolled over. Wish we could switch indeed.
I just saw some drone footage where a cat took the drone down. It fell out of the sky onto its back, and the last camera image is of a cat peering at its camera.
Wonderful, absolutely wonderful. Grahamâs poems are always a treat to read. On another note, saw four nuthatches, two wrens, and twelve juncos while out walking today.

Lovely poem, Graham. While Iâd like to be reincarnated as a pampered housecat, I shall stay the way I am for now.

A beautiful elaboration on Montaigneâs âWhen I play with my cat, how do I know that she is not playing with me rather than I with her?â
