What a surprise to find out that TFB is a HOA shrew

I have seen so many jokes and cartoons about HOA’s lately. They must be becoming truly burdensome.

I guess he’s fine on his stalactite count, though.

And don’t you dare park your wheel in your driveway overnight!

I am a member of our condo’s HOA. We could not care less what you do with your interior as long as it does not affect the structural integrity of the buildings. The exterior, however, is common space, so there are rules to ensure a generally attractive and relatively harmonious co-existence. I don’t agree with all the rules, but none are burdensome. The reason I’m on the HOA, by the way, is because it’s a job nobody wants — they have to beg people to be on it, yet it is legally required and absolutely essential to the functioning of the place. We maintain the roads, the roofs, the exterior lighting, the decks, the landscaping and so on. Nobody has time or interest in getting into other peoples’ business.

Some people sell out to power at a low level, I call this HOA or Hall Monitor syndrome.

He gets the point… From the ground up, that is.

It seems like to COA should be paying him, not the other way around

HOA’s, the new communism. Nope, I always buy where there isn’t one. HOA’s are a great example of too much government.

I hate HOAs! For the most part they only serve the interests of the board members and the businesses in the area.

Associations of Nazis, and she’s a plumber’s wife wanting more income and a big drip.

And also, that stalagmite is painted an unapproved color.

Blame the cave’s environment. It was like that when I moved in.

I am so glad that we don’t have such a thing as The HOA here un Ireland. It’s not a thing in Great Britain either.
