You put it on the shelf to look at and gather dust, of course.

There is a fairly vast difference between a collectible and a usable. Plus a glass fronted cabinet for them keeps out the dust, well most of it anyway.

C’mon Dan, stuff like that is heirloom.

It’s one thing to get a collectible, but from the artist, herself? Ah, hem-EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEH!!!

Oh it’s a telephone and Cathy is part of the telephone on the telephone. A bargain at whatever the price is/was. $4.99? $14.99? $24.99? …gasp… $34.99?

How are you going to display it without it being a temptation for the kids to slide it off the shelf/desk/locked cabinet?

I can still quote or relate to Cathy quotes all the time… like “new fat is easier to lose than old fat” or “that’s the exact same thought I have every time I get ready for work.” As a language person, I loved her “I’m about to conjugate a verb”.

Hmmm…almost noon on a Saturday, and no strip, yet…wonder if it’s snowing where you are, Amanda? (It is, where I live, but we’re not supposed to get much more than a couple of inches. We’ve been lucky so far this winter.)
