I’d be content with what I have, but the fridge gets awful empty before long…

This from a “tiger” who sleeps in a warm bed, naps before a warm fire and walks around on two legs wearing a scarf.

Perhaps you should look in a mirror when you ask that question, Calvin.

Perspective is everything.

If we were content with what we had, we’d still be living in caves. Also, still in caves if it weren’t for women…

People are content to have the ability to think and reason. It’s that ability that makes us utterly dominant over tigers and other such creatures.

Since our only real advantage is our brains, and they’re what we use to think with (despite appearances to the contrary) it’s inevitable that we’ll be discontented, since that’s where thought tends to lead.

Contentment – A commonly misused and misunderstood biblical verse is Philippians 4:13 When Paul stated that “I can do all things through Him who gives me strength” this verse is about contentment and not about achievement.

Gee, I feel so pathetic now …

Hmmm……. Now I’m depressed for the rest of the day.

The more people have, the more they want.

Take the lottery for example. Often one hears of jackpot winners continuing to play!

I doubt most tigers would be content knowing they will soon be extinct.

Well, some of us; I’ve got a great big pointed fang which is my zombie toof.

Comparison isn’t really the thief of joy. The party making the unfair comparison is.

My brother can see at night better than I can, but that’s it.

On a good note, the tiger population in India has doubled the past decade, they have 75% of three world’s tiger population. Btw I like the scarf Hobbes.

I’ve always wished for a tail.

But on the other hand, we can use things from our environment as weapons and tools, we are the only animals that can throw things, and we have some of the best endurance of all animals.

Never quite thought of it like that before. If it weren’t for the cerebral cortex, we’d all be dinner for every creature.

I’d like a fox tail. Maybe nine?
