Hump day can be rough

Turkey is not a desert nation. Didn’t her crystal ball tell her that?

And Istanbul is adjacent to water.

Now Mecca would be a more interesting choice…

Whether or not you packed any marijuana for your trip to the Windy City is nobody’s business but the Turks.

These days, that’s the flight route.

This is the airlines way of telling you the location of your luggage.

Well some people do drugs at times and smoke on Oak Street Beach.

Although the process of loading and unloading luggage from airplanes is still mostly manual, the system has gotten better.

Lost luggage is mostly a thing of the past, and I am impressed that I can follow my luggage on my phone.

In fact, my luggage makes the flight connections better than I do. It takes a short-cut across the ramp. I have to run from one extreme tip of a spider’s leg to another, a distance of several miles.

The psychic lady has obviously never been to Istanbul, or even seen pictures of that city.

His luggage has a better vacation than he does!

Don’t forget to pack your bulletproof vest.

My experiences with my bags arriving at the right place have been pretty good. One time a suitcase was on a (much) later flight, so they delivered it to my front door. Another time, something valuable fell out in an overhead compartment. They found it and mailed it to me.

On the other hand, the exterior of some of my bags has taken a heck of a beating.

Sadly, as likely as not.

Must be flying United.

I wouldn’t chance flying anywhere nowadays.

I once told the check-in clerk on a trip to Virginia that I wanted my bags to go to Atlanta. She said, “I’m sorry, we can’t do that”. Then I said, “Well, you did it last time”.

The scientific theory I like best is that the rings of Saturn are composed entirely of lost airline luggage.
