When did they rename Bourbon to Ensure Plus……..?

Gee, I should try that. I’ve been taking my MetaMucil with Wild Turkey and Coke all this time. I coulda been taking Ensure!

This plugger couple still enjoys the occasional “sports beverage.” You know the ones that you sometimes run through the blender, squeeze some lime into it with a shot of distilled blue agave extract. Sometimes referred to as a margarita.

Eh no thankses. Mine is beer.

I’m grabbing two slices of French bread and heading to the refrigerator to get some salami right after writing this. Chilling a beer in the freezer for 5 minutes at this point. Always been reckless…..it’s Friday Night!

Metamucil with the blue banner at the bottom – somebody’s watching her carbs. How do you think I know that?

I know a couple at my church who start every morning with a shot of Bailey’s in their coffee.

Oh, do you have a sponsor now? I use the kind of fiber powder that dissolves well. Tried that kind (but generic) with coffee once and ended up with a disgusting-tasting blob at the bottom.

Part of working for a local-level newspaper means that sometimes I have to eat on the run.

At one point I realized I was eating a lot of pizza and so decided to trade that out for store-brand protein shakes I could just take with me.

After a few weeks I had a wild craving for baked beans I just couldn’t seem to satisfy, specifically “Ranch Style Beans” – branded products.

I gave up on the protein shakes, the cravings went away, and now I’m still looking for a potential alternative.

So far …. So good …… :)
