Tomorrow being Monday has little effect on one’s psyche unless you’re a “working person”.

Monday Monday!

Did you ever stop to think that the reason most people denigrate Monday is that they take weekends off? If we all worked all seven days, Monday would be just as good/bad as any other.

Don’t the first 5 days after a weekend suck?

Monday is when i rest from the chores of the weekend…

Yes, it is.

So Monday will be a day of hope for Tuesday, and wondering how the rest of the week will turn out.

Rainy days and Mondays always get her down.

When you get to a certain age, you take them as they come.

.. meaning a day filled with BS and disappointment.

Toward the end of my working daze (sic), I finally got bored of hearing and seeing “T.G.I.F”. every Friday. Sooo, on Fridays, my response to that began to be “Only two more days!” When asked “Until what?”, I’d respond “MONDAY!” with a laugh.

I retired shortly thereafter. I also used to have a TGI Fridays right around the corner from me which has closed … now, according to Gaggle, the closest one is 188 miles away …!

Had the week off, not sure I want to go back to work tomorrow. It is going to be a long eight weeks until Easter/Spring break.

Just another Saturday for we retirees, carrying our wounds from slings and arrows of outrageous fortune.
