I didn’t floss until I got gum disease. After that long and painful situation learned to listen to my hygienist.

it is too easy to get lazy about flossing unless you can hear the hygienist in the back of your mind nagging.

I started using a SLATE electric flosser a few years ago and find that it’s more thorough and easier to use. It started out as a Kickstarter project and now is an independent product on its own.

I have no connection or financial interest in it, but just wanted to share my experience.

Speaking of dental hygienists; if you haven’t flossed in a long while (or ever) you are going to get one hell of a tortuous experience as the hygienist scrapes and scrapes and scrapes and you bleed along with all the scrapping. After that you will never NOT floss.

I dunno, Willie Nelson seems like a flosser.
