- [ ] Come listen I the story of a dame called Grace,- [ ] She called to Sam to see the discovery she had made.- [ ] She thought it was coffee but it turned out to be- [ ] Crude, Oil that is. Black Gold. Texas Tea.
To the tune of Beverly Hillbilles lyrics by Paul Henning.
What are the few people of BC going to do with, that oil? Oh! It’s going to be a future Tar pit, in a burned out place called Los Angeles. Where the bones of our intrepid crew from the long lost land of B.C. will resurface from the tar. To be studied as a evolutionary dead end.
Ironically, I’m currently drinking coffee. I was up late making rather merry (like Bob Cratchit) after the Chiefs advanced once again yet again to the Super Bowl.
Many think coffee will go up in price, Colombian coffee is the 3rd largest producer of coffee, Brasil is first then (surprise) Viet Nam. I do love Arabica and dark roasts and will buy coffee until it’s more expensive than gold.
Hmm. Our addiction to oil is changing the climate, causing a mass extinction and very possibly the end of our civilization. Our addiction coffee (and tea) is what powered the period when Europe colonized, exploited and oppressed most of the rest of the world. Discuss which is worse.
