It’s always in the last place one looks.

Two years ago; We lost house keys with name tag. Hmm maybe at the mall or on a walk to the store. We check lost/found. Nope. We walk sidewalks. No keys. I get a quote to rekey locks. $1,500. WOW! I buy a kit, change pins and keys. $60. Spring time, we find the keys in garden while preparing soil for the potato patch. Key rings now have AirTags.

It is getting more and more rare to see women with purses anymore.

Small stuff goes to the bottom.

My wife carries a small backpack. I always tell go down the right side to the bottom and turn left. She always finds what she’s looking for.

Sometimes it’s not found until/unless the whole purse is emptied.

Often it’s quickest to just dump the entire contents out.

Sadly, I find what I’m looking for right AFTER I buy another one. No matter how long I put off buying another one. (⊙_⊙)？

I always find it in the last place I looked.

Sometimes I have to look in the same place twice. Somehow missed it the first time. Go figure. (sigh)

Oh, duh! Everybody knows the gravity is stronger at the bottom of a purse.

My wife has several purses. Gotta match the rest of the outfit you know. She spends a lot of time moving things from one to another and sometimes something doesn’t make the move so every purse has to be searched.

That’s why my keys are on a carabiner, clipped to my belt or the strap on my purse/knapsack. Many purses these days have a ring to clip keys to, or even a built-in clip for your keyring so the keys stay up by the zipper where you can get to them easily.
