Well, it appears that he’s still breathing . . . that’s a good start!

Kitty-man Wigglesworth looks past the worst of it, thank Cat!

From today’s and yesterday’s strips, Kitty-Man Wigglesworth is kind of va-va-voom.

I love it, “Kitty-man.” What a great nickname!

He does look much more relaxed. I do hope he recovers.

Baba Yaga’s Chicken Hut welcomed Wigglesworth and let him sleep inside – encouraging.

Clover almost looks like she’s reverted to her five-year-old self, though she aged to ten while they were searching.

But, when released from long-standing stress (five years in the Fire Realms!), the relaxation of the face can make it look like that.

I’m wondering why, in five years, her tusk(s) haven’t grown in more. She seems to still only have one tiny one, on the right side. Maybe, since her female line seems to live a loooong time, the tusks take a long time to develop.

I just adore Georgia’s story telling, art, and character development. I find it so intriguing that Baba Yaga is so scary, but has healing powers, and Olwen, who loves and defends even her most unlovable descendents, does not have healing powers at all. I love how Georgia’s artistic style here is so different from her BCN strip, and how it is mostly black and white, so that when she uses color, it really stands out (splashes of gore, Pepper’s beautiful coat, fire, Clover’s eyes, etc.) I’m dying to find out if Ivan has learned from his mistakes and changed for the better or is still a stinker. I can’t wait to see the parents’ reactions to 3 of their kids being 5 years older. (Offal had sure better be nicer to Pilot now.) I can’t wait to hear the tale of how Silas became a wolfman, or whatever he is. I can’t wait to see Wigglesworth and Vesper be happy together. I can’t wait to find out more about Peter…does he have latent powers? His Rock Doll has one big eye…is it a representation of Olwen? He always handles it with oven mitts…is it hot? And, I just HAVE to see Olwen thwart the Nasties. Oh, please, please, GoComics, please, keep this strip here until, well, always!!!

I love “Kitty Man”! Reminds me of the Beauty and the Beast TV show from the 80s. The first time I saw Vincent, my reaction was, “he’s not a beast, he’s a kitty!”

Didn’t she call him that long ago when she was younger and they first met?

Clover is lovely. She kinda reminds me of an actress who was born 2 1/2 months before I was, though Hayley mostly only got to show her wholesome side in her films.
