I had a guy paint my house, 2 coats with no prep, no runs and not one spilled drop. If I did it there’d be at least runs and killed grass from the spilt paint. The trim would have a mess

Take the (i) out of the word and that’s what they’ll be doing later.

Whenever I try to paint, it’s my language that becomes colorful.

Who is this person and what has he done with the real Brutus?

Followed by a heavy dose of steroids and Oxycodone. Along with experiencing Roid rage.

I hate painting. If I had a job going and I was the painter, I’d fire me and find someone else.

That’s why I always wear ‘colorfast’ clothing when I paint.

Good point….no wonder my neck hurts when I pain~t the ceilings….

Now if the letters: a, s, s were also included, that would be a perfect description of that job.I can’t agree more with Brutus about doind that job. Only thing l will say, better you than me…..

It’s a pain to paint

As I responded to Ahuehuete…I’m not particularly fond of painting but as far as home decorating/renovating go you get the “most bang for your buck” by painting.  And if you aren’t happy with the change it’s fairly easy to fix.  The three key things I’ve learned about painting are: preparation is very important; buy good paint and equipment; it’s tedious, take your time and don’t rush the job.

Or you could just hire someone who does it almost every day and be done with it!

Personally I like the look of his work clothes. Wondering if Wilberforce is old enough to handle a paint brush, or would that just add to the pain? My guess is he’s out walking Kewpie.

Adam is also talking about painting a couple of rooms.

Brutus means that both literally and figuratively. Wait till they wake up tomorrow morning and can’t raise their arms

Painting isn’t as bad as setting up and cleaning up

When I was a letter carrier I walked by a house where five guys were painting the exterior. They were taking a break. I said I admire you guys because for me painting is the most boring thing imaginable. They laughed.

So now I know why I don’t paint.

I still have my favorite brush, but I gave everything else to my daughter. I will never paint again.

In the 60’s, our neighbor was a school teacher who had summers off, and every summer he would paint one side of his 4-sided house.

house painter was one of my favorite jobs i got fired from. dropped a full can of paint when i got to the top of the ladder. oops. it was especially painful to get fired just when we were working on a house where four lovely coeds lived… ☺

Redid a couple rooms in my house and after completing the work, calculating the cost of my time, paint, and a near divorce. I will pay to let the experts do it and enjoy my beer.

I’m more about the A-I-N-T in painting – as in “I ain’t gonna paint!”
