Horace was a part time marionette operator back in college and could run the strings direct off his fingers. The boys are being sent to gather valuables or material that could trip Horace up ?  Great facial expressions in P.3. This Carlos guy could teach Brozman how to do hands and phones. LOL !

They are certainly, partially, the victims here, being used by their relatives to engage in criminal activity, although they can’t be “used” very easily, given the family dynamic, and their lack of aforementioned brain cells.
