I don’t know Gladys. Some people make a mean bologna sandwich.

A bologna sandwich is often more nutritious than a gourmet meal.

One can dream of being a Gordon Ramsay Gladys;-D

I use cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and mayo. The bread must be fresh. When they are in season, fresh cucumbers from the garden is delicious with the sandwich too.

… and, Gladys ain’t “no phony bologna”

So if she stopped watching the Food Channel, she could loose weight?

You are what you eat, Gladys. Frankly, I love a good bologna sandwich. I even like fried bologna!

My favorite program on TV is the Tournament of Champions on Food Network

Just as Esquire Magazine once stated that there is no shame in a cheese sandwich, I would also extend that sentiment to include bologna.

Fried bologna was the first thing I ever cooked.

my family watches cooking stuff on YouTube and tv while eating something simple too. Don’t be embarrassed. maybe they’ll take pity on us one day and share what they’re making on the screen. :]

Lots of talk about fried bologna. I’ve never had it. I prefer my bologna sandwich in the form of olive loaf.

I wouldn’t, Gladys. There’s nothing wrong with a bologna sandwich.

Hey, I grew up on bologna and KD. We had it 2 or 3 times a week. We knew dad just got paid when we had hotdogs for supper. That was living “high on the hog”. Still, I would not have changed a thing about it if I could. I STILL love fried bologna. In Canada we called it “Newfoundland Round Steak”. Buy it by the foot long roll. But it had to be Maple Leaf brand.

OK, now there’s the bologna sandwich. Where’s the tomato soup from the March 6th strip to dunk it in?

Back in the 40~50’s we ate them all the time….Lawsons bologna, their fabulous dip, and the ham salad!

Don’t be embarrassed Gladys. There’s a dive in Waldo, OH called G & R Tavern that’s famous (they claim “world famous”) for their amazing fried bologna sandwich. People come from far and wide just for that.

I much prefer thinly sliced Filet Mignon!

Bologna sandwich with Lettuce and Tomato and Mayo is soooo good. Bologna sandwich down South in NC is called Sheetrock Steak.

You have to go with your capabilities.

She watches gourmet cooking shows, but she obviously is not learning anything from them.

I ate bologna and American cheese sandwiches almost daily from ages 9-16. I brought it for lunch every single day. I can’t recall the last time I had it. BTW, Hebrew National made a “beef bologna” because it had to be kosher. I ate that brand in my teens.
