I’ve lost count of how many times Gus has served on a platter exactly what Arlo and Janis thought they wanted.

Just make the da&m move already and lets see how the five of you get on. This has dragged out long enough.

Gus, it’s not what they want. Arlo and Janis are feeling the emotional pressure/extortion from their son and his wife, and you, Gus. It’s what you 3 want for A&J, not what they want.

Will they ever move?

I have been where I am for almost 24 years. This is the longest I have ever lived in one spot. I get the “itch” to move all the time but I am almost 67 years old and feel solid here. So I don’t know what I want.

A man after my own heart! Not too many of us characters are smoking cigars anymore.

Gus is telling him “fish, or cut bait”.

A&J like the idea of moving, but don’t actually want to go through with it

Change is very hard

Arlo’s feet are getting cold.

A Dutch uncle speaking plainly can be very good for us . .

Should arrive just in time for a hurricane.

Some folk are people of the sea. Others are people of the Desert, of the Planes, of the Mountains and of the forests. Great Cartoon BTW.

Living on the ocean shore is not for me. 7 feet above the water and getting less every day.

It’s the dream. And Arlo is afraid of the dream.

Geez just hurry up and move there so you can catch the 2025 hurricane season.

Put the house up for rent and move to the beach. If it doesn’t work out, you can always go home.

Arlo’s favorite breakfast? Waffles.

Everyone needs a friend like Gus.

It’s nice that Gus cuts to the chase…and pretty much tells Arlo to stop using the kids as an excuse either to move, or not to move. It’s nice for Arlo to have someone like that who can tell him this straight forward and in plain English. Whether Arlo recognizes this or not is yet to be seen.

Dang, Gus is STILL ticked off about that commission.
