Premature discharge!

To be discharged (“in the morning”) from the hospital took almost all morning and part of the afternoon. Paper work etc. Finally the discharge nurse arrives. The nurse wasn’t going to let me pee before I got the wheelchair ride to the car. She was rushing me. I wasn’t having any of that….

I guess it’s probably better that she can’t see what he’s holding up with his left hand.

Well, he’s ready for all the right turns.

She must be an optometrist.

Discharge status: Alive but without my permission.

It’s appalling when reporters are about to give details about a disaster and they start with “good morning” or some other greeting totally inappropriate for the events that have occurred or ongoing disaster.

Depending on how long he’s been wrapped up, his skin is going to be icky. I was present once to watch a mummy being unwrapped. There was no nasty smell and the skin was in really good shape, considering how old it was.
