Vader is arguably the one guy who was blameless. He warned them the Death Star was no match for the power of the force and, had Han not showed up at the last minute, probably would’ve taken out Luke’s ship before he dropped the charge down the air shaft.
I thought the lightning bolt thingy (sorry for the technical terms) was supposed to be pointing at the computer to signify what it was saying on the screen?
The vent covers were dropped from the plans when the emperor’s interstellar 3d holographic projection communications theater went over budget. Everyone else had to use a freeware app and earbuds.
That was a bad week for Vader. In addition to losing the Death Star, he had an incident report filed against him by Admiral Motti for force-choking him in a meeting and “workplace proselytization.” The report is actually canonized in a Star Wars short story.
You’re upper management, so you’re immune from layoffs. Besides, they don’t have to ask if you contribute to the company. If you’re upper management, they already know you’re useless.

He’s lucky he didn’t get the shock treatment like Luke did in Return.

Then there was the prime moon that you lost to stone age fur-balls.

Why don’t the people in charge have to write emails telling us what they did last week?
PoodleGroomer 5 days ago
DOGE budget review saw no security or economic benefit in covering the vent.

Losing an expensive death star isn’t bad if he used the money of the peasants to have it built instead of using his own.

Technically, Governor Tarkin was the one in charge.

And do not put it in your resume!

Meh, if he gives you a hard time, you can always toss him over a railing into a power core.

You’re writing it. You control what goes in. You don’t have to mention every little thing …

You know It’s bad when evil Empires are having their budgets questioned.
dapperdaniel 5 days ago
You didn’t see any Tesla trucks there. 30K are being recalled. That’s the guy we want for efficiency.

Twas your fate, evil empires must go down. Besides you can point out it wasn’t your fault, it was poorly engineered.

It’s still better than the week he chopped off the hand of his own son and yet he still got away.

Debated on Facebook – Death Star vs. Planet Killer/Doomsday Machine.
The consensus there was that the Planet Killer would win. What say you all?

Win some, lose some. I think Ming the Merciless has an opening for a yes man.
