Daylight Saving Time is a misnomer. You cannot save daylight. When we lived on the farm, the cows didn’t pay any attention to the Clock. When they spent the night in the pasture where the dairy barn was, some of them started for the holding lot by the dairy barn at dawn.

Daylight Saving Time is a solution that’s worse than the problem it’s supposed to solve.

Our cats love it in the spring when they get fed an hour early

I’m glad for DST. Here in northern Maine, the sun is up at 4:30, so it’s getting light at 4. I like getting up at daylight and I really don’t want to be getting up at 3:30.

When Arkansas was deciding if they would do Daylight Slaving Time, there was a letter to the editor in a major newspaper saying that it wasn’t fair because they would have to work an extra hour every day.
