Ok, that’s it. I say storm the idiots stronghold without Guard Duck or Snuffles, free Pastis, then take their torture device and use it on Rat’s family jewels. Over, and over, and over again just because of having to read that stupid speech impediment.

Gary Larson once had a torture device called “Mr. Thingy”. Was Larson east or west coast?

I’m with Pastis, that stupid speech impediment is torture to me too. It’s definitely a part of why I don’t read Mutts.

A perfect example of why this is my favorite comic strip.

I’m curious, how come the comic characters on the east coast are seen as “evil” just because they’re on the other side? I’m not bashing the comic or anything, I’m just curious.

Can this day get any better? My two MOST favorite comic strips fused! Love it!

When Mutts first appeared years ago I looked for awhile in vain for semblance of a joke or cleverness, and kept nearly losing my lunch over the sappy mouth full of mush device. Just by using the ever popular dogs and cats for characters it reached out to the “too cute” crowd and apparently succeeded. Awful. As bad as Family Circus. Now they’ve invaded PBS, starring Stephan as a character, Tell me when I can return to the strip I love.

Could be worse – he might want to electrocute something further south.

If that doesn’t work, try the comfy chair.

Tortured nipples? For some people, that’s a third date!

This strip, and the comments therein, have caused me to cringe a great deal today. I don’t like where the story is going. It’s stopped being fun.

I haven’t had a comic strip make me bust out laughing like this in a long time! I even signed up just to say that, bravo!

All Rat and Pig have to do is take Little Pink Sock hostage…
