Toni – you are such a lousy sister-in-law apparent. Luann has learned nothing from you, benefited nothing from you. No wonder your relationship with Brad is going nowhere.

we have to remember that currently, Toni is scared of committing all the way…………. we shall see soon if I am right, and we will find that Quill is going to be with his Uncle in Los Angeles county?

Be ready for something painful? The guy she fell in love with moved to the other side of the planet.

He said he has been thinking about Luann. You don’t think about a person your not with unless you miss them and would rather be with them. He either has to move on or move back. It sounds as if he is ready to do the latter.

I think it is a letter written on the fly from Quill to sorta warn Luann that he is going to be moving back and wants to take things to a next level…that he has feelings for her….hope so anyhow,,,,

Oh like they have room to talk. He’s a guy Luann, he means “We need to talk”, nothing more. I say “We need to talk” because I want to talk to someone.

Ah poor matey. I fear lightning hit a koolabob tree as he sat beside the billabong and fell over on top his noggin. He’ll develop amnesia and run off into the wilderness to chase kangaroos and koalas.

If someone moves back, I’m still guessing it’s Aaron Hill.

Quill is a pretty straight-forward guy, so I don’t think he has any hidden agenda. He still thinks of Luann. He wants to talk to Luann. Even if he’s moved on to another, Aussie, girl friend, he’s going to be straight with Luann, and that’s good.

Well, I Guess “Getting over Mr. Oz and MOVING On with Her Life” is OUT of the Question for THIS Lass.

Besides, I thought the WHOLE reason for NOT having a relationship with the ‘Manikin’ was to AVOID the Very FOOLISHNESS You are going through NOW.

And Toni? YOU are NOT Helping…..,

Greg needs to get with the 21st century. Why not a phone call? Because a) Melbourne is 13 hours ahead, and Sydney 14 hours ahead of California, where I think we all deduced Luannville is, and a) teenagers don’t make phone calls these days, they text. Skype and email are also possibilities. Never mind the cost of a phone call…

“Why not a phone call?” is a comment I would expect from Frank, not Luann.

Actually, no, it wouldn’t — and as a gay man, i find it quite insulting to suggest that the reason that Quill was able to resist Tiffany is that he’s OBVIOUSLY gay, which no, Greg has never even suggested that Quill is. Tiffany just wasn’t his type, is that so hard to comprehend?

Ya gotta wonder. If Greg Evans is working with his daughter to take over the strip, or at least be a major contributor to it, isn’t she having input into the plot and details development? You’d think that soon we can stop seeing comments: “Oh, it’s a 60+ year old man putting words into a teenage girls mouth – and it’s not reality in the 21st century”. We should be seeing Luann & friends echoing more contemporary language & concepts; dont’cha think?

My point is that we’re getting a lot of comments that Greg’s strip is not real because his “old-fogy” remarks are not typical of today’s teens. So perhaps that’ll go away (to some degree) when his daughter starts contributing to the strip. One can hope…

My lover and I are miles apart most of the time, but at least we can Skype often. Grandma Evie skypes with her grandkids when away and I Skype with all family members who are willing to (inluding my son-i-L just yesterday). Some still use phones but face to face is better always (and free) ;-D

Don’t know where you’re seeing my problem with gayness – I wasn’t aware that my comments showed that – maybe you’ve got the wrong poster in mind. Or maybe you’re reading some “hidden message” into my post – like I’m supposed to find some hidden message in Greg Evans’ strips. I don’t suppose that discerning people can just enjoy the strips without trying to find some mean spiritedness in them.
