Whoa, whoa, whoa…stop the clock! There’s a bus driver shortage? How come no one’s mentioned that this week?

UBER rides are not cheap. I am a disabled Vietnam War Veteran. The VA pays a home healthcare agency to provide aides for me 3 days a week. The mother of the aide I have now is an UBER driver. I had an appointment at the Tulsa, OK Ernest Childers VA Outpatient Clinic on Friday. But, the DAV which has volunteer van drivers does not provide rides on Fridays. I needed to do some shopping after going to the clinic. I had thought about getting a Taxi; but, Korrine told me that her mother could take me and her mother and I could discuss the fare. Korrine’s company only pays her about $17 per hour. Years ago, Kory was an aide from another service. I had him work for ME (not the VA) one Saturday and it was my decision to pay him $20 per hour. And that’s what I paid Korrine’s mother.

It is a traffic jam at school with parents driving kids to school!!!

Their legislature would only do that if Uber had a billionaire owner they were trying to suck up to, using money provided by us ordinary taxpayers, of course.

Me give free uBear ride if you gimme deeleeshus foods in yours picanic baskets.

The least psycho students can volunteer to drive.

So the state is possibly cutting funding to schools but can fund Uber vouchers.

Kids today are too soft. I used to walk school everyday, uphill in both directions and big snow drifts all summer long.

So, Republican/conservative Ohio State legislatures have stock in Uber.

Wake county/ here where Raleigh is, always has a driver shortage. There really isn’t a driver shortage if you look at the hundreds of mommies that wont let there kids on a bus and line up to pick them up after school in the car.

So all the remaining bus drivers will quit and become Uber drivers, no? Well, maybe except Cranky. Does he have a license to drive a regular car?

That sounds like a DOGE solution; one that ends up costing everyone more and not really working.

Isn’t it time for a new Crankshaft strip? Running the same joke day after day is unimaginative even by Batty’s standards.
