I have to try and remember not to touch my dog’s nose this time of year. He doesn’t really get a charge out of it.

Shocking

This is still quite possibly my favorite of this strip.

Socks musta been nylon.

Dad’s socks musta been nylon.

Once lived in Antelope Valley, California. High desert. Dry as anywhere. Learned to touch things with a key or my pocket knife first. Often generated a spark of more than 1/8". Respectable snap.

It’s cold and dry out, so as I go around the house I quickly touch the corners of the wallboard and get several little shocks instead of a big one.

The portion of the house lit up by the “BLAM.” Love it!

When I finally got it: IJBOL…

The cats do not like this time of year because I will walk across the room just to give them a “boop” on the nose. ZZZZZAPPPP!

The excitement of daily life; indoors, in winter.

I tend to get those skin cracks on my fingers, and it’s always just so much fun when I get a static shock that goes into one of those cracks…!!!!

I’d have thought the wife would warn me when she’s wearing exploding underwear. Hasn’t happened yet.
