Okay, call me clueless, out of touch, and all the rest, but the only things I know about Prince (I’ve never heard any of his music) is that his middle name is the same as my first name, and we’re both from Minnesota. However, Prince Valiant is my favorite comic, and I love this tribute!

Brilliant tribute! Aside from all the Prince references, I love how horse wakes up again in his bed, taken directly from Little Nemo in Slumberland.

I don’t know. Pretty scanty. Where’s Dagwood? Where’s Smokey Stover? Steve Canyon? Fearless Fosdick? and Skeezix! Not to mention Tintin and Asteryx, and . . . Okay, so I’m impressed. But all you’re doing is raising my expectations even higher, Sir Samson.

Very nice! I wonder, if Mr Hal Foster also made a comic book “Ivanhoe.” I remember i had that as a kid. Was same kind of a style at least than Prince Valiant. Minnesota is sort of a familiar state for many finns, ‘cos of emigrants…my great grandfather’s brother also lived there many years with his wife.
