When I was animating Donald Duck, my director slowed down the track for ‘reading’. He told me that when the Duck was mumbling, ‘Ducky’ Nash was actually cursing a blue streak.
Not sure about the RoadRunner but I’m pretty sure the coyote was mumbling obscenities under his breath at the conclusion of each “attempt” at catching a meal.
I watched those all my life and never knew that. It explains why the coyote was so angry. My whole childhood perspective just shifted. Ouch my brain hurts.

It would explain why the coyote kept chasing him.

I watched too many cartoons as a kid, so I still cuss like Muttley!
So if you ever hear me razza-frazzin-rickin-frizzin! You’ll know that I just hit my thumb with a rizzle-rashin-frazzle-frikkin hammer!
(I went so fast this morning that I put this on the wrong comic! ¯\(ツ)/¯….)

I heard watching Roadrunner is a gateway to watching street walkers.
