When I was animating Donald Duck, my director slowed down the track for ā€˜readingā€™. He told me that when the Duck was mumbling, ā€˜Duckyā€™ Nash was actually cursing a blue streak.

Not sure about the RoadRunner but Iā€™m pretty sure the coyote was mumbling obscenities under his breath at the conclusion of each ā€œattemptā€ at catching a meal.

I watched too many cartoons as a kid, so I still cuss like Muttley!

So if you ever hear me razza-frazzin-rickin-frizzin! Youā€™ll know that I just hit my thumb with a rizzle-rashin-frazzle-frikkin hammer!

(I went so fast this morning that I put this on the wrong comic! ĀÆ\(惄)/ĀÆā€¦.)

I watched those all my life and never knew that. It explains why the coyote was so angry. My whole childhood perspective just shifted. Ouch my brain hurts.

I guess weā€™ll never know what the Beatles were really singing at the end of ā€œDrive My Carā€:

    ā™Ŗ Beep-beep, beep-beep, yeah

    Beep-beep, beep-beep, yeah

    Beep-beep, beep-beep, yeah

    Beep-beep, beep-beep, yeah ā™Ŗ
