Love chowder (New England style), not big on clams. I’d much prefer shrimp chowder, or fish chowder. (I’ve found those at some restaurants, especially in New England.)
Reminds me of that Simpsons episode where Bart sees the arguement between the two chefs (one from Boston, one from France) and one shoots the other over the pronunciation

I occasionally open a can of Campbell’s cream of mushroom soup, add some whole milk and a healthy dose of clams (rinsed, of course). Delicious!
