If the car doesn’t stop, he has two choices—use his free hand to find a key to unlock, or use his free arm & hand to slip that other end of the cuff, off of the hitch ball.

Tracy is one tough dude…..I’m thinking Ghost is going to take one of those curves just a bit too fast.

Where’s your spare gun Tracy? Get it out,and shoot the tires!

I’m thinking space coupe. The Moon Governor (sorry, ex-governor) is around, so it doesn’t quite count as a deus ex machina.

One of the most efficient ways to slip cuffs is to break or dislocate your thumb.

Ghost is most likely singing “Highway To Hell” by AC/DC.

Maybe Ghost will lose control of the car around one of the curves as he tries to accelerate – spins but not go down a ravine or over the cliff – Tracy unhitches himself – Ghost drives off but realizes there is no Tracy – tries to spin around but loses control and goes over the cliff into the ravine – as Tracy gets to the edge he peers over, hears terrified, unearthly screams, sees Ghost’s car go down, down, down, and mutters to himself, in the immortal words of Phil Rizzuto, Holy Toledo!

I hope Ghost has a good lawyer. He’ll need one after this.

I wonder how Tracy would look like with a bionic right arm? LOL j/k

Tracy should turn over on his back, the trenchcoat might provide some more protection than bodysurfing along a bumpy winding road in the mountains

….would love to see a clever, believable escape like Tracy used to specialize in (ala Mrs. Pruneface…..LOVED that one) and not just have the bumper or handcuffs snap, for instance….

Now, how on earth Ghost Pepper is thinking he’ll get AWAY with this is beyond me, as he’ll obviously be suspect #1 being the person Tracy went to question….

But until the Ghost speeds up on that curve you’re A-OK, eh Dick?

When the ghost slipped the handcuffs over the tow ball there was plenty of room to slip the handcuff off the ball and there has not been any indication that it was tightened before he drove off!

The word from Gweedo is that he got an unusual afternoon call from NightGaunt. NG is in the hospital, & had to have surgery to remove a left middle toe due to some kind of infection he apparently wasn’t aware of, until it was too late We wish him a speedy recovery.

How about a quick crossover? Bullwinkle shows up in the road and forces Ghost to stop the car, and Rocky frees Tracy and flies him away. Hey, it could happen.

In the last panel of this story arc, Ghost Pepper is found to be wearing a mask (a’la Abner Kadaver) and underneath – Gweedo!

Tracy: not happy. Ghost: happy as can be!

What’s wrong with this picture? (Hint: crime does not pay!)

I doubt very much that Sam could arrive on scene quickly enough to effect Tracy’s rescue. So, some unlikely intervention will have to save our lad, whether Ghost has a driving accident or something else….
