Hector says that Shaky never should have been there. Fortuna invited him, apparently for a role that may not have existed. Otherwise, you’d think that Hector would know why he was there.

Fortuna is no longer Breathless, but I think that the movie was largely finished anyway.

Sommme one has a sour taste in their mouth. Wouldn’t be the eye “makeover” would it ? ;-p  Besides having to show that guy’s face; not seeing all of hers means they don’t have to avoid showing her revised edit left eye a second time.

Panel 2 Re-Write: Good Riddance! Should have never been a story in the first place.

We often say, “All’s well that ends” but this one would have been better if it never began!

So, unless we’re going to recycle Fortuna, she never had a crime in mind or, if she did, we’re never going to know?

I sure wish Mike could come up with a story relevant to our times.

Black Lives Matter. Whether it’s a few “bad apples” or the entire orchard. Something looking inward: What is it we want cops to do? What are cops good at doing?

What can be done to make more citizens feel served and protected, not just the few…

The lead actress doesn’t usually have the say-so in stopping a production. She’s usually under contract and can be sued to recoup the studio’s losses if she walks off the set.

At least something good will come of this—an Italian art film whose title will translate as The Belt Buckle Thief.

Can someone explain Fortuna’s angle in all this? All along I thought she was up to no good, which would explain why she got Shaky out of prison and had a little fling with him. Now I don’t know what the point was in any of her dealings. Was she just trying to be in character as much as possible, and nothing else?

Originally this seemed to be a story about a conniving actress coming to Tracy’s town to try to dig up the original Shaky’s missing loot, stirring up old ghosts in the process, but somewhere along the way they dragged in characters like Edison Lighthouse & plot points involving Oklahoma belt buckles & once again a promising Tracy storyline went flying off the rails, shooting off sparks. Mike & Joe are coming up on 10 years on the strip, maybe it’s time to consider bringing in a fresh team.
