    Good morning™, fugitives!

The old smoke and mirrors trick — well, the smoke, at least. He’s making a run for it while Tracy and Lizz are temporarily obscured by the smoke, but how far can he get and will he encounter any backup troops?

Ah, the old gas cloud escape trick. The guy must have been a fan of the old Batman TV show.

I’m not surprised. I had a feeling he was going to resort to that, considering it was something he used to avoid detection the first time around. Doggon it, Tracy, why do you keep leaving yourself open to these things by having a chatfest with villains before restraining them?

Will there be a chase where Stokes ultimately is killed when a piece of wood goes through his heart? It would be fitting.

Doc Savage used to keep glass balls that released knock-out gas when broken. Invented by Monk. I wonder why those never became a thing.

1- DT: Whewf! That hanky smell made me dizzy for a sec. I’m all better now. Now, who was I arresting here…?

2- THE SHARP TOOTHED INSULT COMIC PROFESSOR: Have either of you seen one of my shows or lectures where it’s just not working? No? Well allow me to show you how I get off the stage/lectern before the beer bottles start flying.

DT: Cool! Is it one last hilarious joke that gets the audience back on your side?

3- TSTICP: No, I just tell them it’s been A GAS! POOF!

DOLL: COUGH! Tracy! That’s nasty! What you been eatin’? DT: Huh? Did I do that? HEY! I thought the Vampire guy was gonna do a trick or joke for us!

From off in the distance DON’T FORGET TO TIP YOUR COWS. SAAAA-NAP! MIDWESTERN COW TIPPING CLOSE!

Sped up Knock Knock joke: BATTER. Batter who? BATTER WATCH YOUR STEP, IT’S SLIPPERY!

What are those wire like devices hanging out of the professor’s mouth? In yesterday’s panel, Lizz was close enough to slap the cuffs on him. They tricked him? No admission on his part on how dumb he was to make a night visit to Hope’s place of employment. How did he know she would be working later? The round like ball in professor’s hand reminds me of those used by James West in the television series, “The Wild, Wild, West”.

Very ABNER KADAVER-ISH escape if I ever saw one…and I have!

Perhaps Professor Stokes is, in fact, abner and my original assessment weeks ago that Abner is the brown’s uncle was somewhat off…which is why Stokes would need their DNA, to verify the family line…and would also lend credence as to why Stokes believed he was entitled to the inheritance… BECAUSE IT WAS HIS MONEY TO BEGIN WITH!!,

Stokes had a trick or two up his sleeve, or within his cape. The smoke/gas bomblet has rendered Tracy and Lizz off-balance long enough for him to flee; but where can he get to before they resume pursuit? His flight will be in vain, I expect, and he will end up either re-captured or struck down in some memorable fashion.

But even after that, I still would like some settling of the Brown sisters’ situation for our enlightenment….
