For those who missed what I posted yesterday, Shelley told me that we’ll be “back to the regular scheduled program” next week with “a sort of epilogue.” That should wrap up some loose bits of the Mr. Bones segment. “Like the old days when you had to wait a week to see the next part of the serial,” Shelley says.

A one week reprieve was necessary this week’s strips were due, but everything is fine with the team.

Of all the Minit’s to repeat, at least this one is solvable by the readers unlike most of the later ones.

Is it me or does Notgo look like Gomez Addams? Maybe if the panel reached the floor, we’ll see Cousin Itt, Pugley and Wednesday???

Doorway must have been terribly crowded if they all entered the room at the same time.

That’s a pretty bad Gomez Addams imitation. Who are the other supposed to be? If they can’t leave the room, what happens when they have to use the restroom?

That must have been a Three Stooges moment – all four of them trying to squeeze through the doorway simultaneously.

Okay, I got a groan over the cameo. And I thought my Smokey Stover was bad. And I still say I used the name and didn’t expect him to be drawn in. I blame society!!

Hoo boy. These comics are starting to get genuinely lame.

Someone posted that this Minit Mystery is a repeat. Hmm…I wonder if there will be a quiz after it for us readers. I hope it will be the multiple-choice kind.

How long ago did this Minit Mystery run? I could go back to that moment and find out already who did it.

So it is going to be all Tracy on this case ? The services of Lizz and Sam were not needed?

Will Thing make an appearance this week?

Despite what Wick says, it almost looks like the folks doing this strip are tired, and almost wanting to end this classic series…..Sad

The strip is simply going through a transitional phase. Remember, Joe Staton left recently. Team Tracy is now adjusting to that. Maybe they are in need of a breather of sorts, to artistically regroup?I don’t know. Mike Curtis is at his best, l think, as a writer, when he keeps his storylines more streamlined and better focused. His latest one, regarding the Apparatus, was a ponderous behemoth. I think he needs to simplify. He’s still a top notch writer, no doubt, who breathed much-needed life into Tracy and his strip.This great strip isn’t going anywhere. I think Mr. Curtis has yet to give us his best, as a writer, which is to say, his best Best stuff is coming. History has proven Curtis is no slouch of an artist. I think better material is going to come shortly from him.
